Language Arts4.RL.3- Describe in depth a character, setting or event in a drama 4.RL.2- Determine a theme of a story, drama or poem from details in the text Reading Students will be working on finding the theme of a story this week. This is a concept they learned earlier in the year, so it should be more of a review. For the first two days, they will be using NearPod, which is a link in Google Classroom. It is under "Reading 4th Quarter" and is titled "Finding the Theme Day 1 and 2." They can also follow the link here. Everything is written out and supplied on the NearPod, however, they will need a picture book for the first day. WritingThe main task for writing this week will be to finish typing rough drafts and turn them in on Google Classroom. If you already turned it in, please go over the rubric below and make sure you are meeting the criteria. Later in the week, I will be making comments on your drafts. Once I have returned it to you, I will have you make any corrections then turn in your final draft.
